After Pink Flamingos was released John Waters and Divine were not about to go easier on their audience. Divine plays a spoiled schoolgirl who runs away from home, gets pregnant while hitch-hiking, and ends up as a fashion model for a pair of beauticians who like to photograph women committing crimes. But like Pink Flamingos (and really all of Waters’ work), that doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of how depraved this movie is. It is hilarious and nauseating.
