February 14, 2018- UPDATE: Lake Alert for Lake Beardall LIFTED

A Lake Alert has been issued by the City’s Stormwater Division due to the possibility of elevated fecal coliform counts in Lake Beardall.

A sanitary sewer overflow near the intersection of Long Street and Grove Avenue [GMap], caused by a blockage in the line, has resulted in approximately 2,400 gallons of sanitary waste and stormwater was removed from the impacted area.

Warning signs have been placed around the lake.
