A new Vegan-ish Mexican food truck called Mission Kitchen is set to launch in Orlando by the end of the month.

The new truck is based out of food truck hub Orlando Caterers in Rio Grande Park, just east of Orange Blossom Trail, at 1355 25th Street [GMap]. They will be converting the front loading bay of the building into a seating/dining area but the guests will be ordering from a food truck, with the option of dining in or ordering out.

The current menu, pictured below, will focus on standard Mexican fare like tacos, burritos, aquas frescas, enchiladas, and tamales. They are currently working on vegan cheese recipes in order to be a completely vegan truck, hopefully by the time they launch.

A grand opening for Mission Kitchen (Facebook) is scheduled for March 30 at 11 a.m.-7:42 p.m. (sunset). All featured menu items will be available for purchase for only $1 each. Scroll down to see a look at their menu which they posted on their Instagram page on March 10. Meat options are available on a secret, unreleased menu upon request.

Once open they will operate for lunch from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday with options for additional dinner service to be added later.
