Gideon’s Bakehouse (Website) announced via social media that they have acquired a 2,000 SF production warehouse, to make more cookies in.

The warehouse, located in an undisclosed location in Altamonte Springs (to protect our cookies from cookie bandits), will allow them to increase their product and storage and cutback on their daily sell-outs (they regularly run out of cookies by mid-afternoon at their East End Market storefront).

Build-out is expected to take roughly 60-days and they will be hiring more staff to make their delicious cookies. You can follow them on their Instagram account to get more information on their front and back-of-house positions that should be opening up shortly.

As a result of the increase in costs associated with the move, Gideon’s will be increasing the cost of their cookies by .74 cents, to a total of $5 per cookie.
