A new ice cream shop has opened in the 420 Building in South Eola that specializes in imaginative, scratch-made recipes.

Greenery Creamery (Facebook | Website) serves both dairy-based and vegan options that are handcrafted in small batches so some of the available flavors change on a day-by-day basis. One of the staples however, is an Instagram-breaking flavor called “Black Ash Coconut” made with toasted coconut and activated charcoal – pictured above.

Other flavors include red bean and white chocolate, chocolate ube, pineapple, coffee and cookie crumble, matcha cream, and toasted almond and cherry, among others.

Side Note: The owner, Marie Mercado, is a classically-trained opera singer who studied in New York. Marie hosted a successful Kickstarter late last year that allowed her the funds to test out her new menu.

The Greenery Creamery is located in Unit 112 at 420 E. Church Street [GMap] and is open from noon-9 p.m. but check social media for any sudden changes since they are still in soft opening.
