Luminosities: A Nighttime, Outdoor Art Experience
Christie Miga has created an outdoor art experience to exhibit her newest series: Luminosities. Upon arrival, each attendee will walk along a winding boardwalk trail through Mead Botanical Garden’s wetlands. This calming, dimly lit walk will culminate in the butterfly garden where patrons will discover a grouping of illuminated paintings.
Teak restaurant is celebrating eight years of business with free drinks from 4-7 p.m., cash prize for trivia, live music, and birthday cake.
Florida Wildflower Symposium
The ninth annual Florida Wildflower Symposium at the Orange County UF-IFAS Extension Center in Orlando will feature workshops, presentations, field trips and garden walks on Florida’s native wildflowers and wildlife.

Run for the Trees
Run for the Trees 5k run/walk is a unique point to point event. The last mile is on the tree-canopied, wilderness dirt road of Genius Drive. This privately owned glimpse of old Florida is opened to the public only once a year, for this event. All finishers receive a young tree! Register soon for this sell out event.
