Cafe Linger (Facebook | Website) has officially opened in the former home of NYPD Pizza at 2912 Edgewater Drive [GMap].
The new 2,600 + SF coffee shop/restaurant features an open floor plan with a piano and children’s corner with a rocking horse and a library of books for customers to thumb through.
The menu features a selection of baked goods, small plates, and shareables. They have recently started offering brunch on the weekends with items like eggs in a basket and leak crepes (pictured below).
Cafe Linger will be serving beer and wine as of next weekend, June 2-3, with dinks like champagne with homemade sorbets in them and more traditional mimosas.
The owners told Bungalower that they will be adding a back porch later in the summer.
Hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
