The City of Orlando’s Engelwood Neighborhood Center has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Meet Me at the Park competition.

The grant will be used to carry out improvements, including six adjustable basketball goals that can adjust to any height between four and ten feet. Hoops like these are often installed so that children and individuals with disabilities can participate as well.

The Engelwood Neighborhood Center is located at 6123 La Costa Drive [GMap].

We wrote about this year’s nomination process in April. Click HERE to see what the other two projects were that could have won funding.
