We announced in October 2017 that Sprouts Farmers Market (Website) would be taking over the former Winter Park Whole Foods space in order to open their first Orlando-area store. They have finally announced a fall opening.

Sprouts is known for their selection of non-GMO, organic, gluten-free, raw, grass-fed, paleo, vegan, and dairy-free products as well as their robust produce offerings and bulk food departments.

Whole Foods Market closed their Winter Park store, located at 1999 Aloma Avenue [GMap], in November 2016 in order to open a new location at Winter Park Square. More on that HERE.

Sprouts will open their new location on Wednesday, October 24 and they are looking to hire 140 new workers, according to a release on their website.
