We told you HERE that the new Jinya Ramen Bar (Facebook | Website) would be opening on August 8 but we were able to visit a day earlier as part of a media opener.

This is the first Florida-based location for the international chain which is owned by La Brea Dining Group CEO and Founder, Tomonori Takahashi, who opened the first Jinya in Tokyo in 2000. There are now 24 locations across the United States and Canada.

Jinya is located at 8 N. Summerlin Avenue in the former Tijuana Flats space and is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday.

Some of our favorite parts of the media night included:

Crispy chicken
Spicy tuna tacos
Sake, sake, sake.
Lobster ramen bowl
Curry California poke bowl
