West Colonial Drive will be closed between Orange Avenue and Garland Avenue during three consecutive weekends this month to accommodate the pouring of concrete for the new pedestrian bridge.
During the closures, concrete trucks will be on0site to pour and spread concrete across the base of the walkway.
The quarter-mile pedestrian bridge is expected to be complete in early 2019.
Closures will occur:
- 10 p.m. Friday, September 14-6 a.m. Saturday, September 15
- 10 p.m. Friday, September 21-6 a.m. Saturday, September 22
- 10 p.m. Saturday, September 29-6 a.m. Sunday, September 30
