Food, Drinks, Music and Local Love! We are hosting the fine folks of ILEA Orlando for a Taste of East End style event Jan 16th. This international live events association is coming to taste and see what it means to eat….and drink locally. We’re rolling out the red carpet for them but it’s not exclusive to their members. There are tickets available for non-members as well. So grab one before they sell out and come experience all that East End has to offer.
Here are the details:
The evening begins at 5:30 in the courtyard and Market Hall with appetizers offered by the merchants as well as local wines, craft beer and cocktails.
Oyster Bob will be shucking oysters outside and the American Fools Band duo will be laying down some foot tapping tunes.
At 6:30 the party rolls upstairs to the Audubon ballroom where Cuisiniers Catering and the chefs of Swine and Sons will be offering local and seasonally selected fare for the main dining portion of the evening.
While you enjoy your dinner East End’s owner John Rife will be giving a presentation of why Local is Lovely: How local offerings can add purpose and spark to your next event.
As the presentation concludes, freshly baked Gideon’s cookies will be coming out of the oven in the ballroom’s attached kitchen closing out the evening with a sweet send off.
It’s rare that we have the whole market opened and showcasing for an event and this is one you don’t want to miss.
