Making History: Recording the Past – An Oral History Workshop

April 22 @ 10:00 am - April 23 @ 1:00 am

Many of us have wanted to preserve the life stories and memories of our parents, grandparents, neighbors, and community members in their own words and voices. At this workshop, we’ll focus on what makes a good oral history and also look at some of the equipment that’s helpful in conducting an interview.

Our Making History series of Saturday workshops explore heritage crafts. Each workshop is taught by an experienced instructor; materials and a light lunch are included.

Registration: The cost of each workshop is $15 ($10 for annual pass holders). Register in advance to guarantee your space. Annual pass holders: Please sign in to apply your discount.

Workshop instruction is designed for adults; teenagers accompanied by an adult are welcome.
