The Central Florida Foundation (Facebook | Website) is hosting its second annual Table Talk on October 1, inviting residents to gather online to discuss three questions: How has 2020 challenged and changed our community? What should we focus on as we move forward? What will you bring to the table to affect change?

The organization’s 2019 Table Talk invited Central Florida residents to engage in in-person candid conversations about forces that affect our community. This year’s event is meant to be hosted on an online platform like Zoom, Houseparty, Facetime, or any other virtual gathering app with 6-10 guests to join in a conversation and then fill out an anonymous survey for the foundation.

Feedback gathered via the surveys will be analyzed to identify key ideas and goals that emerge from the digital conversations for the foundation to address with future programming.

If groups or individuals have an idea or a plan to create change or to improve the lives of Central Floridians that comes from their Table Talk conversation, they can apply for a micro-grant of $500-$1,000 to make it happen.
