The three-story Church Street Exchange Building has a new set of owners in Digvijay Gaekwad and Robert Yeager.

The 87,000+ SF home of publicly subsidized coworking space Canvs and PlanSource should be remaining in tact as Gaekwad told the Orlando Sentinel in a recent article, HERE, that they would not be knocking down the building but rather focus on finding new “quality” tenants.

Co-owner Robert Yeager, of Sullivan Properties, is also the current owner of the Kress Building which is located just up the street at 15 W. Church Street [GMap]. Gaekwad (Website) is the founder and CEO of IT firm NDS USA Information Technology and Danny G Management and got his start in the business community by owning and managing a convenience store chain which he sold in the ’90s.

Gaekwad’s website states that he is “in the process of building a new accelerator in downtown Orlando, which [he] will house in [the] Exchange Building … which will fund hundreds of small companies.”

Lincoln Property Company purchased the southern half of Church Street last summer which houses Cheyenne Saloon, the Orchid Garden, and Hamburger Marys, as part of their Tremont Tower development.
