As curated by gallery director Pat Greene, the upcoming Invasive Species exhibition will focus on human carelessness and exotic introduced species.

The show will operate on the assumption that most invasive species are introduced into foreign ecosystems out of human carelessness. Greene asked participating artists to explore the idea of changing environments in their own ways.

Selected artists include Jenn Allen, Adam Thaxton, Kira Sylvia, DeVan Jimine, Kyle, Richard Munster, Hannah Miller, Dina Mack, Matt Duke, and Greene himself.

The opening will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday,  May 17 at the Gallery, which is located at 39 S. Magnolia Avenue [GMap].
