Irish Shannon’s Pub (Facebook) is a new Irish-themed bar that will open in the former home of the Dubliner Irish Social House on Church Street [GMap].

The space is owned by Church Street Entertainment Group (Website) which also owns Chillers, Cahoots, and Latitudes.

Much of the previous theming features from Dubliner are still in tact, including an installation of whiskey barrels and a faux-ruined brick wall. A Murphy Bed-style pop-up stage will be added this week, before the opening at the end of the week.

The bar features 15 taps and a variety of Irish vodkas and whiskeys. There is also a limited menu with items like beer cheese, Guinness wings, as well as burger and sandwich options.

DJs will perform each Saturday night and there will be live music every Friday. According to bar management there will be regular ticket giveaways to local sporting events as well.

The Grand Opening party is scheduled for Friday, April 28 at 10 p.m. and include live music and an open bar from 10-11:30 p.m. More information HERE.

The space that housed Don Jefe’s Orlando will have a new concept as well, but is planned to open in 2018.

Editor’s Note: This is the same building that will be undergoing a Historic facade restoration process. More on that HERE.
