A construction permit was just granted to the owner of the upcoming Iron Cow cafe in the Milk District.

Located at 2438 E. Robinson Street [GMap] the 2,700 SF renovated industrial space will feature 15-foot high ceilings and plenty of original charm.

According to owner/operator Mathew Scot, the cafe will feature a Crooked Bayou/Sandwich Bar-inspired menu of Po Boy sandwiches and cocktails made with products from Juice Bar (Facebook). The venue was approved for full liquor in January of 2016.

The Iron Cow is expected to open before the end of the year.
