Lotus Lounges and Honey prepare to open next week. The two restaurants will go in the space vacated by Nick’s Italian Kitchen and Prickly Pear in the Sanctuary building located downtown on South Eola Dr. and Pine St. The countdown on the Lotus and Honey website indicate that both will open on August 1.
Lotus Loung is described as a farm-to-table fusion concept and Honey as and Aphrodisiac Bar. The menu of Lotus features american fare including everything from herb crusted chicken to skillet roasted Cornish Hen. The Honey menu isn’t all the different but will probably have a very different atmosphere. Menu items include pine nut crusted organic chicken, grilled lobster and a raw bar.
