FrontDoor

One of the unique characteristics of most of our bungalow neighborhoods is that we have door-to-door delivery and therefore no curbside mailboxes. That may be about to change. The House Oversight Committee in Congress approved a change this week that would not only end Saturday delivery but would also end door-to-door delivery.

The legislation allows for door-to-door delivery to continue for hardship reasons or for a small, not yet specified, fee. Would you be willing to pay a fee to continue to receive door-to-door mail service? Or maybe work within your neighborhood to keep door-to-door delivery? Let us know in the comments.
