I usually don’t post about events so far in advance but I couldn’t resist this one especially on a throwback Thursday.
Starting in October a group of residents will be getting together to play shuffleboard. They will play at the mostly unused shuffleboard courts at the Beardall Senior Center at 800 South Delaney Ave. (& Gore St) in Delaney Park . Their goal is to resurrect this game that was once beloved by generations of Floridians. The games will be the first Saturday of the month from 7 p.m. — 9 p.m. starting October 5. The best part is that it’s free.
