Market Place Outfitters

Florida Hospital Orlando is in the midst of a major buildout for their Health Village. A key part to the Health Village concept is creating mixed use development as opposed to just medical use. We have seen very little from a retail perspective up until now. The first of what will be many retail shops opened today in Health Village.

Market Place Outfitters (Facebook) opened in the new office building at 2415 N Orange Ave. (btwn. Rollins St. & Orlando St.) today. Market Place Outfitters is operated by the Florida Hospital Retail Division. They carry an athletic footwear, apparel and accessories centered around work, fitness, and balance. They also cary scrubs and Florida Hospital branded apparel.

They will have a grand opening on Thursday, August 29th. Their former location was at the corner of Princeton and Orange Ave. According to Dan Price, director of retail development at Florida Hospital, they are planing to open a temporary retail location focused on limited closeouts in the old location.

Price expects the Panera Bread currently being built out in the same building to open later this fall. Parking for the the retail locations is available in the McRae Parking Garage. Customers can either take the bridge across and or go to street level.
