Homegrown Co-op

The Homegrown Co-op (Website | Facebook) is temporarily closing their online farmers market and reducing their operating hours of the retail location.

The Homegrown Co-op located at 2310 N Orange Ave. (btwn. Orlando St. & Smith St.) provided an online farmers market where you can purchase locally sourced products and then pick them up or have them delivered in addition to a physical retail location that sold local products in the Health Village/Ivanhoe Village area.

According to a post on their Facebook page the Co-op is now under new leadership and they are making these changes so that they can “raise funds, streamline operations and improve the online and in-store experience.”

They will no longer be open on Monday or Tuesday and that once they open the online farmers market their will only be one pickup day.

The post says that they are looking to raise $12,000 to become current with their farmers and food producers.

You can support them by donating in-store or on their website.
