Black Bean Deli

I spend my days driving around looking to see what’s coming and going in the bungalow neighborhoods. There are a handful of places that are close to opening.  The reason I never wrote about some of them is because they were announced before I started Bungalower. We’ll put up a post for each when they do open, but I thought I’d give an update incase you hadn’t heard about them yet. So here’s my list:

Black Bean Deli’s new location. Who doesn’t love the Black Bean Deli and their new location will be bigger (not a difficult feat) and looks great from the outside. The new location is at the old Vega’s Cafe at 1835 E Colonial Dr. Not open yet but I’m pretty sure last time I drove by I smelled some great food cooking in the kitchen

Hubbly Bubbly in College Park is a falafel restaurant located at 3405 Edgewater Dr. in the old Black Water BBQ space. They’ve done tons of work to place and we’re ready to have another great lunch and dinner spot in College Park. The owners hope this will be the first of many locations.

Alfonso’s in College Park is coming along nicely in the old Scruffy Murphy’s location at 2625 Edgewater Dr. We took a peak inside last week and they are oh so close to being ready to open. Based on what we hear (and saw) you should think less pizza place and more sports bar for this location.

Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen in downtown Orlando is set to open next to/inside the City Arts Factory on Orange Ave. We love this location and the idea of keeping it a coffee shop. We previewed this location as one of our first posts and now we are hearing they should be open next week.

The Strand in Mills 50 we’ve written about this one before but we think we’ll see them in action sometime real soon.

Which restaurant are you most looking forward to?
