Underground Public House 1

A new pub opened up recently downtown called the Underground Public House (Facebook).

The bar/restaurant is located  at 19 S Orange Ave. (btwn. Central Blvd. & Pine St.) in Downtown Orlando.

Owner Kelly Wells told Bungalower “Underground Public House is an American pub with an English twist.”

Wells who is from England says they have modern atmosphere, while still maintaining the essence of a traditional public house.

They are serving fresh and organic food including sauces and dressing made from scratch, organic produce whenever possible and all natural, grass fed beef burgers.

From an alcohol perspective (it is a pub) they have 12 beers on the house taps, with a state of the art, nitrogen generated draft system, lots of Craft Beers and a full liquor bar and daily happy hour specials.

When you walk inside the 1892 building you’ll notice the original exposed brick walls, eight 60″ TVs with the football game on, a custom floor to ceiling mural of the american flag fading into Union Jack and a large patio.
