What’s happening with the old Barney’s Steakhouse on Colonial. I noticed that there is a sign that says Kobe is coming soon.
Brian’s correct, it does say coming soon. But that sign has been there for a while now and it may not really be soon. We reached out to Kobe’s headquarters and here’s what they had to say:
We actually do not have a status on the location at 1615 East Colonial Drive. It is not opening anytime soon though because our next project is opening the Kobe in St. Pete.
So it looks like for now the old Barney’s Steak & Seafood will sit empty. Once we see any activity or progress we’ll be sure to let you know.
