Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen (Website | Facebook) opens today in Downtown Orlando. In July we told you that the coffee shop would open next to the CityArts Factory. The coffee shop is located at 29 S Orange Ave. (btwn. Pine St & Central Blvd.)
This Barnie’s location will follow in the success of the Winter Park location that focuses a more upscale experience. This includes crafted coffee drinks and farm to table foods.
Their website notes that this location has a menu more conducive to takeout for eating outdoors or back at the office.
When it comes to coffee, espresso will be hand-pulled off a La Marzocco Strada. Baristas will also serve a selection of coffees microroasted at the Park Ave location by the cup using the pour over method.
The menu will offer locally sourced breakfast, lunch, and pastry options. Pastries are baked fresh daily and bread is brought in from Olde Hearth Bread Co.
New dishes include a Caprese Panini and European street favorites such as salami or prosciutto ficelle sandwiches. Breakfast options include a smoked salmon bagel, Breakfast Panini, or Energy Bowl – a frozen blend of Acai and other berries topped with bananas, Greek yogurt, and granola.
The hours for Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen in Downtown is Monday through Frida 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. They will be open late for Third Thursdays.
