Old Florida National Bank (Website | Facebook) has filed for a conditional use permit for a drive-through at 1901 Edgewater Dr (at Stetson St.). Old Florida National Bank already has a location in College Park at 646 W Smith St (at Edgewater Dr). The location under consideration used to be a bank and is now a metal studio.
Christian Hertenstein, Marketing and Communications Manager with Old Florida National Bank told Bungalower that their lease on their current location is up for renewal next year. “We are exploring options so that Old Florida is best positioned to serve the College Park community,” he added.
The current location while centrally located has noticeable parking issues as it shares a parking area with CVS, Subway and Tijuana Flats.
“We are committed to our friends, neighbors and customers in the area. We will absolutely continue to have a branch in College Park,” Hartenstein Said.
The conditional user permit will go before the municipal planning board next week. Other items being discussed at the meeting for this area include a new drive-through at the Wendy’s on S Orange Ave and Kaley St.
NOOOOOOOOO more corporate banks!!! Let’s not be so blasé. Let’s define ourselves with art and creativity.
Banks are boring. Besides, we the people , bank online. We don’t care where your physical building is. Recently I shopped and processed a re if loan on a used car, all done ON LINE.
College Park needs diversity and creativity.
