We’ve had a couple of people write in asking what is going into the old Medina’s Grocery in the Milk District.

Do you know what’s happening in the space that used to be Medina’s Grocery (on Bumby, next door to Whiskey Lou’s)? My dream has always been that that space would turn into a 24-hour diner like something out of a Barry Levinson movie. Fingers crossed that something cool is going in there.
The space at 2405 E Washington St [GMap] won’t be a diner but it will be a restaurant..
The restaurant that will go into the space is Pho K-5 Vietnamese Restaurant which used to be located at 5286 W Colonial Dr [GMap].
Their old location is closed and their voicemail message and workers on site indicated that they are trying to have their new location open by November 1. We’ll keep you updated on their progress.
Excellent – I just asked The Milk District last week – thank for the info
