From the Events Calendar: Taste of Thornton Park & Arts Block Party

A Taste of Thornton Park is an annual fundraiser event for the Thornton Park Neighborhood Association and this year we celebrate the 11th anniversary of our event.

Proceeds from Taste of Thornton Park fund the various community events throughout our neighborhood, as well as, landmark projects like the Four Rivers fountain (at the intersection of Washington & Hyer) and the great Thornton Park neighborhood sign at the north entry to our neighborhood.

Taste of Thornton Park has grown in attendance every year and always sells out. The Merchants of Thornton Park come out in full force, representing themselves and the incredible “tastes” that they offer. From fantastic wines, incredible cocktails and refreshing beers to savory entrée samples and sensational sweets – this event has it all. >>More information

It is time for the 4th Annual Dia de los Muertos & Monster Factory Exhibit at CityArts Factory. This year we will feature our award winning block party and exhibit with Live Art Performances by Phantasmagoria, Salvador LIVE & ME Dance, Giant Mojiganga Puppet Procession, Traditional Ofrenda installation, Live Music by Tacatantán Records featuring Los Nadie, Kattya Graham, Doomino & Kevin Stever, Artists & Vendors, delicious food by Wako Taco.
