Tonight, you bring the Lake Eola fountain to life. Using 12 touch sensitive triggers in Washington Plaza just south of the amphitheater, you can interact with the Orlando icon. When you touch the pads, sound and lighting cues are triggered on the fountain. This installation by artist Cole NeSmith is part of tonight’s Creative City Project.

The Creative City Project is taking place tonight in Downtown Orlando. Last year different arts organization performed everyday during the month of October. This year, they’re packing all that into one night. Tonight Downtown Orlando will come alive with music, new media, dance, performing art, visual art and more.

Other performances include Rachel Chase’s video performance art and Nathan Selikoff’s new media interactive art where he combines computer code, traditional materials, and future technology to bring new ideas to life.

Dozens of other participating arts organizations including, Canvas Creative Movement Coalition, Coby Project, Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, Nathan Selikoff, The Mud Flappers, Voci Dance and more.
