Cherry Blow Dry Bar (Website) plans to open in Mills Park [GMap] in the first part of next year.
“What we do here is wash and blowdry (style) hair. That’s pretty much it. No cutting or coloring involved. We also offer temporary tape in extensions for a more dramatic look or change for someone,” said Cherry Blow Dry Bar General Manager Erika Jarvis.
Cherry Blow Dry Bar is a franchise that originated in Australia.
“Our salon is set up similar to a “Bar”. Our clients sit at it while their hair is getting styled. We also will be offering champagne, water, coffee, tea, and soda. The concept is a bar related hair experience,” she said.
Jarvis said they are working to open as soon as possible and it should be some time in the first part of 2014.
Cherry Blow Dry bar will join Fresh Market, First Watch and Marilyn Monroe Nail Boutique in the Mills Park development.
