The cranes are up for Florida Hospital Orlando’s new Women’s Pavilion at their Health Village campus.
The new 12-story 322-bed tower is set to open in early 2015.
Florida Hospital for Women will offer services in three major areas: Pre pregnancy care, well-women care and specialty care.
According to Florida Hospital, services will include obstetrics, maternal fetal medicine (high risk obstetrics), gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive women’s surgery, neonatal intensive care, digital mammography, women’s cardiovascular, wellness and education, a lactation center and the High Risk Breast Center.
Florida Hospital for Women will also feature:
- 14 labor and delivery suites
- 72 beds of postpartum care, mother-baby and high-risk
- 80 neonatal intensive care beds
- 13 operating rooms for obstetrics and women’s services with room for da Vinci® robotic and minimally-invasive surgery
