Cardboard Art Festival

The Cardboard  Art Festival kicks off tomorrow with their opening night.

The festival in its second year features artworks of all shapes, sizes and genres made from, you guessed it, cardboard.

In 2013 the festival featured all types of cardboard art including  a hanging cardboard marionette puppet, full-sized cardboard space car and cardboard owls and cats.

The festival put on by our friends at the Daily City takes place at The Orange Studio at 1121 N. Mills Ave.

The festival kicks of tomorrow night with an opening DJ Dance Party from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for $10.

On Saturday they will have gallery hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for $5 and a concert series from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for $10.

Sunday will be a kid’s cardboard camp from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for $5 followed by the Super Joy Riders.
