LYNX (Website | Facebook) announced proposed changes to allow for easier transfers between LYNX and SunRail.

The new changes will go into effect on April 13 in time for SunRail which will start operating this Spring.

SunRail is set up to be a commuter rail with peak operation during typical commuting hours.

The proposed changes are for most of the bus routes that were already near a SunRail stations to detour during those peak hours to the SunRail station.

While the exact times for the reroutes to SunRail vary by route they tend to be generally around 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The proposal also include splitting the 436 route into two separate routes starting at the Longwood SunRail station.

You can see the details of the proposed changes here and the routes will be updated soon on the LYNX website and in Google Maps trip planner.

LYNX and SunRail will provide free transfers between the two services.
