The Gallery at Mills Park (Website | Facebook) will start allowing residents to move in at the end of the month.
The 310 unit complex features a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments is located in the Mills Park development [GMap].
We stopped in this week for a tour of the common areas. Some of the features we saw were:
- Club house with fire feature and adaptive reuse of the original lumber from Nebraska Lumber
- Coffee bar
- Business center with conference room
- Fitness center
- Juice bar
The apartments themselves weren’t ready yet but some of the unique features they told us about are wine chillers in every apartment and upgrades on the fifth floor that include remote control toilets.
The first phase will be ready by the end of the month but the entire building won’t be complete until the end of September.
Here are the starting prices for the various floor plans;
- Studio — $1171
- 1 bedroom/1 bath — $1187 – $1375
- 2 bedroom/2 bath — $1584 – $1678
- 3 bedroom/2 bath — $1986 – $1995
Here’s a photo tour of the common area amenities along with the floor plans for the apartments at the Gallery at Mills Park:
It was great riding the urban trail behind it today…what a great project!
I heard they were having trouble selling/renting out the studios built downtown? I had a friend point that out to me about a year ago.
I’ve been saying the same thing, but I read the wood used in some of these places are compressed in such as a way that makes them stronger than concrete. I don’t know if that’s how they build these though. Or how they stand up to hurricane’s and fires. I was and still am concerned about the wood apartments they’ve built in Baldwin Park too.
Is the park included in the September plans, or will is it part of the medical offices building?
Great location!! Can’t wait to see it when it’s done. Definitely a place I want to look into.
Wow…if I needed to rent a place that’s where I would want to live. Beautiful!!!!!
I do property management near by, and $1171 for a studio at these new places is exactly why I stay so full! I mean, the upgrades are nice, but this place is going to be like every other new “luxury” apartment complex in Orlando.
Lol $1171 for a studio?? In Mills50? This isn’t NYC guys. I expect these to remain vacant for some time.
I’d honestly never live in a building constructed almost entirely of wood.
Sounds nice!
