Island Time

Island Time beer and wine bar is set to open in the Thornton Park District in Downtown Orlando.

The new bar will occupy the space that was previously IZA Tapas Bar at 712 E Washington St [GMap].

Owner Audrey Davila told Bungalower that they will focus on craft and local beers along with a nice selection of wine.

In addition they will have a limited menu of light snacks.

“It’s all about the relaxed, island state of mind,” she said. “Laid back, casual, come as you are hangout.”

She says they will be open every day around 4:00 p.m. and earlier on weekends.

She hopes to have Island Time open by the end of the month.

We’ll keep you updated on their progress and let you know once they open.

  1. mdeancherry Yes this is Audrey! I’m back! Cuban sandwiches will be a special every now and then, not a regular item. (Very time consuming to make) And the espresso machine travels with our other business, but when it’s in town – there will definitely be cafe con leche!
@Jennie Maretti Thanks! Very excited to be back!

@Brian Jones Kind of makes you want to paint a big smiley face on the side, right? A little brighter than we expected, so glad you like it!

Working like a mad woman trying to get open, but I will definitely start updating on facebook (Island Time Orlando) as things get closer.

  2. Is this Audrey who used to run the coffee shop in this location? I still miss the cafe con leche and cuban sandwiches.
