Mills Park Pods 1

Mills Park will be adding three new restaurants/bars to the mixed-use development.

The businesses will be close to Mills Ave in the middle of the property and face a small green space in the middle of the three.

Based on documents filed with the city it looks like parking will be available on a temporary surface lot next to the businesses and eventually in a parking garage, once the office buildings are built.

The first space to open will be Segafredo (Website). Segafredo is a european style café and lounge. During the day you can enjoy a cup of coffee or brunch/lunch food and at night some drinks and Italian food. They will feature a rooftop patio and at night will have more of a lounge feel. This is their first Orlando café but they have locations across the world, including a popular one on Lincoln Road in Miami. Segafredo plans to be open by the end of the year and all our Bungalower members will get a $10 gift certificate in our December Bungalower Bundle.

Also opening soon is Brass Tap (Website | Facebook). Brass Tap is a craft beer bar with a pub style food menu. Most Brass Tap locations have around 60 beers on tap and a couple hundred by bottle or can. They focus on bringing in as many local beers as possible. Their food menu is bar type appetizers, flatbreads, soups, sandwiches, salads and pretzel pizzas. Brass Tap is expected to open sometime in January.

The third space was originally set to be a Dogmatic. However, that may no longer be the case. Dogmatic has since closed their New York locations and their logo is no longer on the most recent Mills Park site plan. We have reached out multiple times to Bishop Beale, who manages the leasing of Mills Park, and they have not provided us with any details on if Dogmatic is still slated for the space or who the new tenant might be. Construction is still moving along on this building and once we know more, we’ll be sure to share.

Here’s a look at the three buildings being built at Mills Park:

Update December 3, 2014: An earlier version of this story mentioned that Brass Tap would have pub style entrees including burgers, chicken fingers and wings. This location will not offer those items.

  1. I like this, but let’s see some new parks and bike lanes! And let’s throw in more legit coffee shops (like Credo).
