The Bank of America Charitable Foundation has awarded the United Arts of Central Florida with a $50,000 grant.

The funds are meant to provide matching funds at 50 centers per dollar for the UA Power2Give campaign (Website). Power2Give is a fundraising website that allows non-profit arts groups to post potential projects and crowd-source the funding, much like Kickstarter or Indiegogo.

Bank of America has been a sponsor of the initiative since 2013.

The matching grant allows participating organizations to achieve their fundraising goals faster.

According to United Arts,  Power2Give has raised $213,000 for local arts and culture projects through 1,050 individual gifts.
