According to their Facebook page, the Plaza Live has begun Phase 1 of construction on their updated design and building renovation, which is slated to last the next few months.
Phase 1 entails the addition of new storage, backstage and dressing rooms and expansion of the former ballet school space, which will become new offices for the Philharmonic and the Plaza.
The halls will be sound-proofed and one of them will receive some floor leveling.
The space will stay open during construction.
