The Audubon Park Garden District (Facebook | Website) is hosting an inaugural retro modern home tour 12-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.
Attendees will have the chance to explore five private homes that range from mid-century modern to the more “quirky retro” and stylishly modern.
Patrons of the tour will gather for an after party from 5-8 p.m. with mid-century inspired food by La Femme du Fromage (Facebook | Website) iced tea, sangria, craft beer and more.
Advanced tickets are $20 for APGD members, $25 for advanced general admission and $30 day of event.
Check in begins at noon HERE near the district’s community garden. Event organizers say,” look for the gorgeous vintage mustang parked nearby.”
This tour is a fundraiser for the Audubon Park Garden District, a part of the City of Orlando’s Main Street Program.
Volunteers with knowledge of good design picked them with an eye towards mid century design and also clustered together with other nearby homes so that people can bike or park and walk to see clustered homes.
How are the homes chosen?
