Northboro Builders (Website) is looking to place their new office building near the corner of south Lucerne and South Orange Avenue [Gmap].
The Lake Cherokee property houses a vacant one-story building and is designated as Mixed Use Corridor and is surrounded by senior housing and multi-family residential. The property owner states in his paperwork with the City that the vacant building is currently “occupied by the homeless.”
The applicant is proposing to demolish the existing 3,100 SF building first constructed in 1937 and former home of the sport commission, in order to construct a two-story 7,632 SF office, pictured below.
