The owner of Seito Sushi (Facebook | Website), Jason Chin, was slated to open the new sister restaurant, Osprey Tavern last fall but apparently encountered some road bumps along the way. The soft opening for Osprey Tavern (Facebook) is tonight at 5:30 p.m.
The menu features seasonal American food, craft beer, a raw bar (seafood) and scratch cocktails. The soft opening will have a special menu.
Regular operating hours will be 5:30-10 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays.

I really enjoyed this place! It reminds me a bit of the taverns I frequented in New York (Balthazar, Pastis). Great gem for Baldwin Park – this really helps bring the dining scene there another step forward.
