We wrote about Broken Strings Brewery (Facebook) opening in Ivanhoe Village back in August, but unfortunately due to some difficulties they had with the property owner they were hoping to lease from, they had to switch gears.
According to an announcement they made today on their Facebook page, they have joined forces with Black Cauldron Brewing (Facebook) to secure a building on West Church Street [Gmap].
We don’t want to cause a scene, but … the new tandem brew house will be only a block away from the new Orlando City Soccer stadium.
The breweries are planning on opening in autumn of this year.
So excited to see this addition to Parramore! Great future for this area!

the dream of the 90s is alive in parramore
What?! That’s right next door to where I work.
yeah he could be on to something
You are actually probably right about that…
parramore – so hot right now
Very cool. I hope that the upcoming development within the area will retain the soul and jive of Parramore and not be major tear downs replaced with ugly stucco boxes! Love the building they are moving into.
Adam Peyrouse!!
I’ll believe it when I see it. The state and local governments have been dragging their feet on every brewery application. Ten 10 Brewing Company thought they’d be open months ago… Hopefully they open soon! We need more breweries in Orlando, to catch up with the success of the rest of the state.
Parramore is the future Williamsburg of Orlando.
Glad Broken Strings has found a home. Looks like a cool building too!
kind of poor timing eh? soccer ends right around fall. hope they stick it out until next season
Patiently waiting for Broken Strings to open up since tasting some of their delicious brews at Jingle Eve in Ivanhoe Village! This is great news!
