Local street artist gone big city, Boy Kong (Facebook | Website) has become a household name here in Orlando. His murals of dragons, tiger-eating-ladies with chopsticks, and lucky kitties are becoming synonymous with an Orlando arts-scene that’s slowly coming into its own.
But did you know his sister, Gum Nakyo, is an artist too?
Nyako has an online store called 100% Sugarfree (Website) that features her work, and she’s based out of Apopka. She specializes in custom decorated phone cases with saccharinely sweet toys in a cupcake icing-like base, or Barbie-inspired “Death Doll” shirts.
