On Friday, May 1, Mayor Buddy Dyer will take part in the City of Orlando’s annual Bike to Work Day {Facebook).

Mayor Dyer will lead cyclists on a communal bike ride from Loch Haven Park along the Orlando Urban Trail to City Hall. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Mennello Museum of American Art [Gmap], with the ride starting at 8 a.m.

Free coffee and bike tune-ups will be provided to participants.

Don’t forget you can take SunRail to the event! Bicycles are welcome on board all SunRail trains. The closest station to Loch Haven Park is at Florida Hospital [Gmap].

Bikes will be available via Juice Bike Share (formerly Orlando Bike Share) by registering at this site. Juice will be officially launching their bike share’s new look and the expansion of their services from 20 to 200 bikes.
