Chef Eddie’s opens on West Church Street

Chef Eddie’s Restaurant (Facebook) opened yesterday in the former McKnight’s Soul Food space on West Church Street [Gmap] in the City View building.

Chef Eddie’s specializes in soul food and southern cooking, with menu items like fried green tomatoes and grits, fried chicken and ten different varieties chicken and waffles.

Hours of operation are 7 a.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday-Sunday.

Editor’s Note: The signs in front of the new restaurant still say McKnight’s, so don’t get confused and just walk by when trying to stop into this new addition to the Parramore dining scene.
