Tremont Realty Capital has submitted a plan for a 25-story building will replace the Hyatt Place hotel concept proposed for the northeastern corner of the Garland and South intersection downtown [Gmap].
The new plan includes a 10-story, 586-space parking garage to service nearby Church Street, an eight-story hotel with 180 rooms, seven levels of office space and a possible SunRail platform.

I thought the lot South of Church Street was a paved lot?
From what was said in the last article about this site (https://bungalower.com/2014/08/hyatt-place-hotel-planned-downtown-orlando/), it looks like they might do that for this new project. I agree, the crossing is dangerous and it would be better to move and integrate the southbound platform into the new building.
This will look good sitting right next to I-4.
I hope they do get the opportunity to include the southbound SunRail platform into the design. The current southbound station is dangerously located and puts a large crowd of pedestrians crossing the street in an awkward manner.
I just hope it actually says “BUSINESS” on the building.
busy!
Yeah, I really hate this overdone modern architecture. No one is given room to be creative any more.
So ultra modern…
