Orlando Park wins $20,000 grant

Bill Frederick Park (Website) has won a $20,000 grant from the Parks Build Community initiative, courtesy of the National Recreation and Park Association and the Walt Disney Company.

We wrote about the the initiative to revitalize parks across the United States back in April, HERE.

Orlando residents voted for their favorite park and project. As a result of the grant, Bill Frederick Park will now be receiving a quarter-mile Nature Connect Trail, based on the Arbor Day Foundation’s Nature Explore national program.
