This Wednesday, a truck full of mummies will arrive at the Orlando Science Center (Gmap).
Mummies of the World, is a nationally touring exhibition that has visited 11 cities and been viewed by over 1.3 M visitors, that opens on June 13.
The exhibition gives a closer look at the scientific study of mummies, and a window into how past cultures lived.
Specimens in the exhibit include 18th-century family, the Orlovits, medical mummies from the University of Maryland, Baron von Holz from Sommersdorf, Germany, and MUMAB – the first modern-day, man-made mummy.
The exhibition will be on display through fall 2015.
